Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 20, 2026
Status: Independent & Privacy-First
At Code Autonomy, I believe that "owning your stack" includes owning your privacy. This site is designed to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to function. I do not sell your data, and I do not use invasive third-party trackers (like Google Analytics or Meta Pixels).
1. Data I Collect & Why
- Member Information: If you choose to subscribe to the newsletter, I collect your email address. This is necessary to deliver the content you requested.
- Server Logs: Like all web servers, my Hetzner instance logs your IP address, browser type, and time of visit. These logs are used strictly for security (detecting brute-force attacks) and are automatically deleted every 30–90 days.
- Cookies: I only use "Functional Cookies." These are small files that allow you to stay logged into your member account. They are not used for tracking or advertising.
2. Infrastructure (My Processors)
To maintain this site's autonomy while ensuring delivery, I use the following service providers:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): Hosts the physical server and database where your data lives. Your data is stored within the EU.
- Mailgun Technologies (USA/EU): Acts as the "pipe" for sending newsletter emails. If you are a subscriber, your email address is shared with them for delivery purposes only.
3. Your Rights (GDPR)
Regardless of where you live, I respect the following rights:
- Right to Access: You can ask for a copy of the data I have (usually just your email).
- Right to Erasure: You can unsubscribe at any time, which immediately halts email delivery. You can also request a full deletion of your member record by emailing me.
- No Tracking: Because I have disabled third-party CDNs for Ghost’s internal scripts, your visit is not leaked to third-party script providers.
